One of the key challenges in Phased Array and ToFD welding and corrosion scanning is the high cost of scanner hardware.
As a result, many companies are forced to rely on a single
scanner, which often requires frequent rebuilding and is prone to wear and
tear.
This also limits most companies to being only able to deliver one service at
the time in the beginning.
Furthermore, most standard scanners have limited versatility.

With over 10 years of experience in PAUT, I have developed a series of practical and adaptable 3D-printed scanner components that can be customized for various scanning configurations and welds.
My approach is not to compete with the high-end scanners,
but rather to offer a solution that allows you to have multiple scanners, 2, 3,
or 4 tailored to the specific tasks at hand, eliminating the need to constantly
rebuild a single scanner.
I’ve designed the scanners so that the magnetic wheels and the fitted encoder align with the weld preparation, ensuring optimal contact on clean surfaces.
